L'éatarde Art

Art is a three letter word with a thousand meanings full of feeling.
I have always been creative; all throughout my life I have expressed my creativity in all sorts of ways, and just like all of us, ended up creating all sorts of works of art, in all different forms, styles and meaning. It was only until I enrolled in Law school, and endured the endless yet somewhat interesting lectures, that I started to express my creativity with that what I had in hand, a pencil, on that what I had in front of me: a piece of paper. When I graduated from Law school, I was a trained drawer, and my passion from drawing has only but intensified ever since.

Techniques

Pencil

My favourite technique is pencil. I love taking my time and gradually bringing the beloved object to life. I am always fascinated by how the once empty piece of paper turns into a story into which so much emotion and love has been poured into.
I like to draw the donkeys and goats of Weinfeldermaar, but I also like drawing flowers or people I encounter during my walks.

Aquarelle

One doesn't paint with aquarelle. Once dances with it. And hopes to create magic.
I am passionate about painting with aquarelle, and find it very exciting to do. I never know what is going to happen. I have to let the water move and carry the paint throughout the surface, who also has its say in what the end product will look like. It is a technique in which one has to give up trying to control the outcome and the only thing one can do is enjoy the process.

Oil Paint

Oil paint is my favourite technique. I absolutely adore the smooth paint on the brush, talking to me as it finds its way through the canvas.
